HIGH LEVEL PROCESSING
- Digital Filters:
- The filter is applied by overlaying 3X3 coefficients matrix filter mask on the image data, multiplying the coefficient and data in each of elements and adding all of them to obtain new element located at the center.
- The mask is then shifted by one position and the process is repeated.
- The mask highlights the changes.
- Some other high level descriptors, which are useful for object recognition for basic shapes are:
- Signatures
- Shape Number
- Fourier Descriptor
- Regional Descriptors
